Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StoryWhisper website at story-whisper.com and the personalized audio story service we provide (together, the "Service"). StoryWhisper ("we", "us", "our") operates the Service. By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to place an order. StoryWhisper creates content intended for children, but the Service is purchased and used by adults. You are responsible for any information you submit and for supervising children's listening.

2. What we provide

StoryWhisper produces a personalized children's audio bedtime story based on the details you provide in our creation flow. Each order delivers a single digital product:

• one personalized audio story file (MP3), and
• one accompanying cover image.

That is the entire deliverable. We do not provide a printed book, a PDF, a physical product, shipping, or any ongoing subscription. The story is delivered by email, with a link to listen online or download the audio.

3. How stories are produced

Our stories and narration are produced using a combination of professional voice talent and modern AI-assisted writing and audio-production tools, and are reviewed by a human before delivery. Because each story is uniquely generated, exact wording, voices, music, length, and artwork will vary from order to order and from any samples shown on the site.

4. Pricing, delivery and payment

• Standard — $24, delivered within 24 hours.
• Priority — $39, delivered within approximately 4 hours.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown at checkout. Delivery times are measured from successful payment and are good-faith targets, not guarantees; rare delays can occur. We use Stripe to process payments — by paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms, and you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the amount shown. We never store your full card details.

5. Your content and the information you provide

To personalize a story you may give us a child's first name, age range, interests, a dedication, and similar details. You represent that you have the right to share this information and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. Do not submit sensitive personal information beyond what the form requests. We use what you provide solely to create and deliver your story, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. License to your finished story

Once your order is paid and delivered, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-transferable license to use the finished audio story and cover image for personal, non-commercial purposes — listening with your family, sharing with relatives, and keeping your own copy. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute the story or artwork. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, templates, and the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to request or create content that is:

• unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent, or otherwise harmful;
• intended to impersonate or harm a real person; or
• infringing on intellectual-property or privacy rights.

We may decline, edit, or refund any order that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or our content standards.

8. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, described in full in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." StoryWhisper stories are intended for entertainment and gentle values-based storytelling. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, educational, or developmental advice. We make no guarantee of any particular outcome or behavioral change in a child. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryWhisper's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
